Where do I start?

It has definitely been a little while since I've entered a post, but things have been super crazy! Labour day weekend was too much fun and the weather was outstanding. We wrapped things up at the organic farm and packed for the long haul to the Sterling Rope event. On our way, we decided to make a stop in Thornbury to take a look at some homes, and as luck and fate would have it, we found a perfect little piece of heaven. It is a beautiful lot on the outskirts of Clarksburg, just five minutes from Old Baldy and an hour from lions head. We have a gorgeous vegetable garden, huge separate garage (yeeeah home gym!!), tool shed and an adorable little 3 bedroom bungalo. We are so excited, but it will definitely be a change of pace from our road warrior life. So, here we are, back in the Red River Gorge, after a wonderful weekend in North Conway. We are now living our last long stretch of having no fixed address... who knows where the road will take us, but we have until April 24th to live like dirt bag climbers for one last time! I guess I will have to change the name of my blog! It is definitely not the end of our travels, but they jus wont occur year round (haha). I also got my MRI results back, and it was rather good news. I have a minor labrum tear and bad genetics. Turns out that one of the bones called the acromion is slightly curved, which makes me prone to shoulder injuries and nerve impingements because it pushes my shoulders forward. It is a quick fix day surgery with only 2 weeks recovery needed, and if Im not good in 3 months, Im doing it. More good news is that I have been feeling pretty good and I got a 5.13a, just second day back from resting for 8 months....sooo lets keep our fingers crossed and maybe it will be a good season (knock on wood).
